Apply Lipstick with a fabulous result

You too can apply lipstick so that it stays in place all day and continue to have your lips looking full and fabulous. First start off by applying a plumping lip balm all over the top and bottom lip to soften and nourish the lips. I always recommend putting on just enough to cover the lips without any excess, and blend well into the lips.

Using your finger or a lip brush, apply foundation to both the top and bottom lips to even out the color of your lips and help keep the lip color on all day. Once again, make sure you blend the foundation well into your lips and make sure there’s no excess.

To define the shape of the lips, take a concealer brush and apply concealer along the outside lining of your lips. The center of your top lip is known as the cupid’s bow – give this area extra attention and make sure it’s clearly defined. The end result will be lips that look polished and plump! Moving on to the next step . . . apply lip liner along the top and bottom lip line.

Lip liners are great to further help define the lips and prevent your lipstick from bleeding onto the outside area of your lips. Lip liners should be applied moderately because overdoing it will totally change the lip color you will use afterwards. I personally like to blend my lip liner with a lip brush for a smoother appearance.

Now you’re ready to apply lip stick all over your lips and blend in with a lip brush. Lipsticks should be applied moderately as well to prevent color from transferring onto your teeth when you smile. If you desire more shape to your lips, reapply the lip liner for extra definition.

Now grab a tissue and envelop it with both your top and bottom lips – this is commonly referred to as “dabbing your lips” onto the tissue. Doing this will transfer any excess color onto the tissue to help your lipstick stay on longer. KISSES!

Now you've just learned how to apply lipstick!
