Too Busy? Apply Makeup in less than 10 minutes
If you don’t have too much time to invest into your morning routine, you can apply makeup in less than 10 minutes and still have it look flawless. No matter how busy you are, it’s always important to take out a little time to make yourself look good because when you look good, you feel good. As women we all have to strive to take care of ourselves – that’s the only way we can continue to give to others and take care of our families. Now without further ado, here’s how you can apply makeup in less than 10 minutes . . .
Start by applying a thin layer of foundation to your face and blend outwards. You can do this either with the tips of your fingers or with a foundation brush. Make sure you cover all areas and don’t miss a spot. Now apply a couple of dots of concealer underneath each eye to cover those dark bags and blend outwardly as well. Touch up any other spots on your face that need concealer too. You don’t have to be too rushed, just make sure you blend everything out nicely so that the end result is flawless.
Using a powder brush, quickly dust on powder to set the foundation and concealer, then dust on a bit of blush while you’re at it. Make sure to blend the blush in circular motion up towards the temples of the face. Using an angle brush, lightly fill in your brows to add some definition and pigment. Even the lightest application will help frame your face even more. For eyeshadow: begin by priming your eyelids with a base or eye primer. One of my favorites is Urban Decay Primer Potion – it works so well! Now apply your eyeshadow onto both eyelids and blend up towards the crease. If you want a more dramatic look, blend a darker eyeshadow to the outer “V” and into the crease. Blend both colors together to make sure they mesh and look flawless.
Apply pencil eyeliner to both eyes and smudge with an angle or smudge brush, then add mascara to both the top and bottom lashes. Now you want to apply your lip liner and whatever lip color of your choice. Make sure the application is precise and that it doesn’t extend outside of your lip line.
So you’re all done and as you can tell, that was an incredibly easy look, and it didn’t take long at all.
